It mostly works. I did just a quick test with and Android phone and Spotify, and it did show the song and artist name but I wasn't able to change tracks in my playlist. Maybe because I run just a song, but if I am not able to do that, it will do the same job a much cheaper Bluetooth adapter, with the only advantage to show song information. Still better and easier than changing the combo box and programming the car. Seller was quick to send, great packing, the support they send as gift is really good. Will provide additional feedback once I use it a bit more.
THIS PRODUCT WORKS !!!! JCW R56 2008…. Bluetooth shows up as iPod and steering wheel controls both volume and track change work I’ve tried about 6 cables and none worked outside of bmw media cable which is hardlined and not Bluetooth and 100$ from dealer
